The Onion created a true crime podcast parody called A Very Fatal Murder and it was a lot of fun! Short, sweet, and a lot of good jokes.
...The number of people in the comments who thought it was a real podcast about a girl who'd been found shot, stabbed, strangled, drowned, given a haircut, changed into an uglier shirt, and with Mars dirt under her fingernails is honestly kind of terrifying though. I mean, even if none of that tips you off, the hyperintelligent AI aiding the case and the fact that the Mars Rover was a suspect should probably still be a clue?
