Guys, give me more adverbs to add to my yaoi.
“He walked sadly and persistently to the impressively wooden door”
This writing shit is easy!
Ooooo what’re the spicy stories abt that you’re reading 👀
Credence by Penelope Douglas is about a daughter of famous parents who committed suicide, so she goes to live with her step uncle and step cousins. It has some heartfelt undertones where they all end up helping each other with their issues. It's good if you like taboo relationships and sexual tension.
Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton is about an author who inherits a slightly haunted manor from her grandma, and ends up trying to solve her great grandmother's murder that happened in that house. She gets the attention of a mercenary man working to end human trafficking and he becomes obsessed with her, stalking her. This one is PEAK. I loooove it. Very fucked up and detailed sex scenes, funny, switching POVs, and good ole 'I shouldn't like this but I do' troupe.
(Haven't finished it or the 2nd book so please no spoilers!)

Reading is my therapy but I'd need therapy with what I read
I just finished another book… I cried so hard and don’t want to leave its world. I will miss the characters so much…I just can’t let go…
Anyone here read, “birthday girl” by Penelope Douglas? Or “Credence?” I need these two to play a slutty father and son immediately.
characters whose fear turns them into something monstrous.
