It seems like Derek considers that his beard is the only thing he needs to fight off the cold this winter. He walks around shirtless even more than before and he just took movember too seriously or something.
Stiles is adamant that beard does not equal fur and he needs to shave it off immediately and get himself a scarf or something, why not a beanie? Why not both? That would look great, super douchey, everything Stiles hates.
He tried to ask nicely, Derek brushed him off. He tried to bargain something. A week of Stiles not talking, of him not showing up unannounced at the loft. Nothing. Derek is just proudly walking around with all his facial hair on full display.
Stiles is even considering poisoning Derek with wolfsbane long enough to drag him to the barber shop downtown, but he’s apparently too good of a person to actually go through with it.
But the beard has to go. period.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the longer Derek’s beard gets, the more Stiles doesn’t think he’ll be able to resist the urge to kiss him.
