Hehe I need to re-do my silly little dossier thing for them. But my MHA OC is an Underground/Search&Rescue Pro-Hero named Miyoko Ito (Hero Name: Relay). Their quirk lets them mess around with electromagnetic waves (mostly radio levels though they can use microwaves and cause radiation damage if they wanted to [they do not want to]). I assume kind of similar to Sonus' quirk actually but they refuse to use it in a offensive manner so they just use it for echolocation for the most part or communication. Sometimes using it to blast a radio out, it's fine.
They're deaf & wear bone-anchored hearing aids and selectively mute, speaking mostly via sign language or their quirk (transmitting radio messages to a transmitter they wear w/ their costume). They'll like talk sometimes with the people closest to them but even that's still not always.
And also bc I assume this is a safe space with the OCxCanon going on here - but it's my canon that they're Hizashi's younger foster sibling ^^
There's other bits and bobs about them but I love them!!! *holds them close to my chest*
A fellow selective mute?! Sign language and even ability with quirk communication? Underground/Search and rescue Hero?? And the family ties?! Oh hell yea, they are FRIENDS
