Hey I love your art! I'm an artist too, but sometimes I have trouble drawing Voltron characters with the complex hair and proportions and such. Do you have any Voltron character reference sheets to share? Especially for Lance. Thanks! I might try to make some myself.

BOII I hear ya. Let me just use this moment to express my eternal hatred for everyone’s hair in Voltron. ESPECIALLY Lance’s. I freaking hate having to draw his hair mannnn. I don’t even know why it’s so hard, I just absolutely despise drawing his stupid hair gahhh ;o;

okay! So, I don’t have a character reference sheet, I just kinda... let my hand go wild whenever I have to draw hair. BUT! I thought I’d use this as an excuse to study their ridiculous hair and whip out this little... guide(?? ?) for ya!

Little note: I like to break down hair into sections. It makes it easier for me to understand the flow and direction of the hair!

Aaaah, your art is amazing! Like seriously, I'm in love with your style! I just have some (a lot) of questions, I hope that's alright! 1. So in photoshop, what brushes do you use? I know you mostly use Sai, but I'm curious about your photoshop brushes for lineart and coloring. Annnnd, um yeah that's actually really the only question I have, haha. Btw, your Charlie Weasley art is my very favorite Charlie Weasley drawing. :)

Thank you so much! ^^ I use @loish‘s brushes, sometimes default brushes, and there’s one brush with a little bit more textured edges I like, it’s the 7th brush in the 4th row here [x] lol, I guess it’s the same one I use (I turn off wet edges.) I don’t think I have it from this set... but I believe that’s the same charcoal. I’m not very good with ps brushes, I have a lot of them but use like... 5? xD

Okay, so then according to word of god (the creators) Shiro is 25 and the others are late teens. But that wasn't in the show? Idk, in my mind they're all, even Pidge, is 18+. It feels weird for me otherwise. Like, yes, if you think Keith is 17 and Shiro is 25, you shouldn't ship them together. Like how Bill x Hermione is gross. But if in your hc Hermione is 23 or something, for me at least, that's fine. I don't really see the issue as long as IN THE SHOW ages aren't defined.

I mean, outside the show, I don't follow the creators or what they say. I'm new to this fandom. I don't want to start any fights. I really am against pedophilia. But for me, truly their ages are ambiguous. I'm more of a Klance shipper anyway, but I just don't think Sheith is particularly harmful. There are plenty of harmful ships out there like Sirius x Harry or Dick x Damian even Jay x Tim. Sheith seems meh. If it weren't for you, I'd have never thought Keith was a teenager.

i literally have no idea how you think pidge is an adult. but anyway, it doesn’t matter if they didn’t say the ages in canon because theyre coded as teenagers and shiro is coded as an adult, AND the creators confirmed their ages. your age “headcanons” don’t matter when the younger paladins are designed as kids. it’s literally a kids show, there’s no reason to justify shipping a kid with an adult. pedophilia is harmful.
