Hammer Time .
Replaceable heads on axes means hardcore bolts so Ive been out testing the M8 bolts on my Mad Max axe , and as all the heads I’ve made or recycled are different thicknesses I’m also checking on the spacer washer during real world use .
An afternoon spent down on a burn site gave me a clear indication that the hammer on this recycled ice climbing axe is actually quite effective, happily breaking up various type of household bricks , different type concrete blocks and adobe type walling .
