sHIT I'VE BEEN FOUND OUT
Everything Could Be Fine [axerica]
Arthur didn't often allow himself to daydream during class, but today it was particularly difficult not to. It was his last of the day, and afterwards... afterwards he was going to be sneaking off to meet with Alfred behind the gym so that they could hang out together after school without getting caught.
Alfred.
His boyfriend.
It still felt so odd to think of such a thing, since no-one else knew about their relationship, but it also made Arthur wiggle in his seat, eager for the class to be over. It was maths, as well, which he usually enjoyed, but today he could hardly bear to wait the last ten minutes...
Finally the bell rang, and he practically exploded out of his seat, hurrying through the crowds of students, arriving at the arranged meeting spot several minutes early and out of breath.

"Oh, hey there. Don't stare; wings are normal where I come from."

Alfred was weak. The night before was all a blur, and he would have liked to remember. He wasn’t out partying or getting drunk, he actually felt going out to see his brother. Though not everything went to plan— around 10 PM he had been sideswiped on the main road. The last thing he really remembered was the flashing lights of an ambulance and a few firemen attempting to get him out of the car. After that everything went black. Then, he woke up in the hospital. He groaned when he came to, looking around himself to see where he was, sighing soon after as he realized where he was. Nope. He’s supposed to be the hero and heroes don’t go to the hospital. Alfred knew he had to contact someone, and it would probably be Matt since they were supposed to see each other the night before. Carefully, he picked himself up and out of bed, wincing in pain as his muscles tensed up from finally being used. It didn’t take him long to find his phone and after he laid right back in bed. Then, he called. ”Matt, hey, listen…. I’m in the hospital right now. Don’t freak out or anything just- I don’t know, come visit me or something? I don’t wanna be alone.”
Matthew was a patient man. But sometimes there were moments where his patience wears thin. It would have to take something drastic for him to be annoyed. Alfred not coming as planned, it irritated him. For one thing, he made dinner for two, which was a waste to throw away. In the end, he gave Alfred's piece to Kumajirou.
He was also saddened. Maybe something more important came up, and that's why Alfred had to go. But it hurt knowing something came up and their plans weren't that important to keep. With a sigh, Matthew continued his night in silence and watching sitcoms.
It was after three calls that Matthew jolted awake. He went to bed early, too tired to stay and continue watching his show. He squinted at the screen, the harsh like making him groan. When he saw who it was, Matthew grimaced and answered.
He wasn't given the chance to respond before Alfred spoke. And what he said made Matthew's skin crawl. It took him a few minutes before he gripped the phone tighter and shifted out of bed. "What happened," Matthew said in a panicky tone. "I'll come over but---" He was already getting dressed.
axerica replied to your post:I can imagine it took a week to convince him to...
CACKLES seriously though like “no man come on it’s fine” then it breaks “I TRUSTED YOU”
'I don't like this.'
'Oh calm down dude it's a lot faster than taking the stairs constantly. You're always late because of that.'
'I DON'T CARE. I really don't think this is a good idea...'
'What, you think it's going to break down or something?'
'It can DO THAT?!'
'Hell no, that's really rare and these are all well taken care of. C'mon.'
'..Fine.'
I can imagine it took a week to convince him to get on the elevator at all and noW THIS HAPPENS.
axerica found the city.
Why in God's name was this man wearing a coat in the middle of the summer? He looked pretty insane, to be true.
"This man" had arrived in her abode only minutes ago, but quickly managed to confuse her. First was his attire. Who wore anything so heavy in the middle of a desert? Second was his demeanor. The strange blond walked with a wide gate and even wider eyes. The only thing on her mind was how the idiotic looking guy had even found the city. She was off of many modern maps and -- - what were any of these people suddenly doing in the desert, anyway? She sighed quietly and rubbed her temples. It was great to see new people...
...however...
...it was giving her a bit of a head ache.
What ever, she thought, straightening her back. She was going to greet him like she had greeted all the other visitors. And so, reluctantly, she stepped out from her position in one of the aging houses and gave him a puzzled look.
"Greetings, stranger," she addressed, hesitantly lifting her hand in salutation.
