9 years ago today, Axle came home for the first time. Rory, my Hubby, had adopted him from a rescue in Pine, Colorado. We had just bought our home and we really wanted a dog. At the time, I was working a rigorous schedule and couldn’t be apart of the adoption and met Axle, for the first time when Rory brought him home. I opened up the truck, passanger door and there he was; standing on the seat wagging his entire body. He was all belly, ears and paws. He was so fugly, he was adorable! Over the years, he has grown into a handsome dog and made us into a Family.
