So you mentioned Ay the 4th is your favorite minor character. It's rare to see anyone discuss him with any kind of enthusiasm! If you please, tell us what makes Ay great in your eyes!

Yes I think he's super interesting!!

The simplest part is just that I think it's really funny for another village to pull up after a large portion of this series and go "damn y'all are a mess" when they have just been vibing and minding their business the whole time. Like go off honestly. Someone's gotta knock some sense into them.

On a deeper level I believe I've discussed this some before, but I think he's an interesting parallel to the other leaders in the series. Each of the leaders present at the summit have such different vibes to them, and I think they all highlight different methods and belief systems. For A, he's someone who I find very wise and caring. It doesn't exempt him from fucking up as a leader, but it's clear he cares about his village and his Jinchūriki and will do what it takes to protect them.

His dynamic with Killer Bee is of course my favorite. I wish we had gotten more of their backstory than we did, though I've absolutely dissected every piece there is. I think it's suuuuch a fun parallel to see that he's overly-protective of Bee when that's not something we've seen when it comes to other Jinchūriki.

I just think he's neat!
