Tamina: You are not giving up, do you?
Deja: What do you mean?
Tamina: You are not dressed for the festival tonight and you are reading books and maps again.
Deja: Ah, was it that obvious?
Tamina: When I entered your room I saw you quickly running to your bed. Youstood at your desk.
Tamina: Besided, even when I did not saw you running; I know my abji. And I am pretty sure baba and maman would say the same.
Deja: (sighs) I can not just quit. I am so close! Besides the fortune teller-
Tamina: Fortune teller? Deja, those people are dangerous and cannot be trusted!
Deja: I know, I know, but Jamal said we can trust her.
Tamina: Jamal says everything to keep you interested.
Deja: What is that suppose to mean?
Tamina: Nothing. Just get dressed. Baba will be furieus if you do not come at the festival.
Deja: Fine. I will come. Close the door on your way out.
(growls)
Deja: What is it, Ayar? Have you seen a bird again? (laughs) A giant roc, maybe?
Deja: (opens book and reads)
Katarq: (breaths heavily)
Deja: (sighs) I will find it. Despite what everyone says or thinks.
Deja: (shocked and mumbles)
Katarq: Keep quiet and you will live.
