She picked up a second loaf of Gardenia Matcha Azuki Loaf 🍞 (S$4 per 340g loaf) from NTUC supermarket. Made with earthy matcha and velvety azuki beans, this premium loaf offers a perfect harmony of Japanese tradition and taste. Can taste the slight bitterness of the green tea 🍵 flavour while the red beans 🫘 add pockets of sweetness. Online reviews said it is even better when toasted and/or spread with kaya (coconut jam), peanut butter or hazelnut spread etc... Here, I only ate with a slice of cheese in-between and it was already good enough for me. 🥪
Actually, there is also a Vending Machine by Gardenia just next block so it saves us a lot of walking time and ease of buying especially during bad weather. Everyday at around 6am in the morning when I am going to work, the Gardenia van and its driver will be removing the previous day products and stocking them with freshly baked goods.
