‘With Cullen, it’s in the lingering touches, the moments when he simply can’t seem to resist having some form of contact with me. Although it’s rare for him to be publically affectionate beyond a brief, chaste kiss - though he is becoming more brazen of late - even when we have dinner in the Herald’s Rest his hand will always rest on my thigh, or his arm will always be around my waist, or he’ll tuck a loose curl of hair behind.’
Malakar:
‘How do I put this into words... I can hear it in his voice. Dorian is witty and fast with jibes when we pass books to each other and argue about history, but there’s a softness beneath the sharp crack of his wit and the firmness of his accent. A quiet awe, like he can’t believe I’m still there.’ He chuckles. ‘Truth be told, I feel the same about him.'
Azyrth:
‘Quiet moments. It’s always in the quiet moments with Bull, which always surprises me. He’s so outspoken, so rough and tumble. It’s hard to describe his smile, but it’s warm and bright. I’ve never seen him smile at anyone else like that.’
