@azzyfree requested some RPA pixel art so I made this little animation!

It’s a ‘flash forward’ in the comic so there might be some intentionally mysterious pseudo-spoilers in it.

In the Black exists in a world where nothing is simple, everyone and everything walks that fine line of grey as they try to achieve their desires through any means necessary. Whether you are a Private Eye, a lawyer or a Sexworker at the local brothel, the world of In the black is a dangerous one of Politics, Manipulation, Monsters and Ancient secrets.

In the Black is a Fantasy-Noir Role-playing game which takes place on a secondary world similar to the first half of the 20th century  in which magic and monsters affects every aspect of life. Right now you can get a chance to join this game!

Based on the Apocalypse World and Uncharted Worlds systems I have made a system that fits the universe of In the black. I need some people to help play test it.

I have 4 spaces open. If you are interested in playing send me a message with the idea you have for your character and a sample of a roleplay post you have written.

Rating: This is a mature game, which will deal with mature/ explicit themes. You must be able to provide proof that you are 18 years of age or older.

Game type: Casual. Replies will be done as you are able. Do not worry if you are in a different timezone than EDT. If we are lucky enough to have everyone online and not busy at the same time there may be some fast paced days.

Focus: Characters can and will break off from the main story. Some may go home and come across a lost cat. Others may find themselves trapped with another character in a sinking car. Because of this there may be some sessions of play were your character is alone or is able to get up to something by themselves.  Embrace it for even the quiet times can be important in this game.

There is a festival going on in FOH. So I painted Darroh in a yukata attending it. Still working on a new painting style and not quite there yet with it.

angel; favorite album of all time?awwwww shit you picked a toughie. well. if we’re going with albums.... then.... okay this is gonna sound really fucking 8th-grader emo but like. my chemical romance’s black parade literally changed my life so i’m gonna have to go with that, even if i hardly listen to it anymore.hopeless; do you believe in ghosts?well. i believe in the possibility of some kind of non-physical entities that can have an affect on physical things. i’m not sure if i particularly believe in ghosts, but man like... the theories. the possibilities. the stories. it’s almost worth believing in them just for the pure potential of how multidimensional they can make the world!

I should have posted Erin with Saif. Basically when I am done Saif’s character sheet will look similar to this. Erin is the Main character of In the Black. Saif is her partner, and together they solve crimes in the Fantasy city of Lae Lumas.

Yes!! Tales of Vesperia was a game I sank over a hundred hours into which is not something I would ever do when I was younger but I was completely in love with it. It was my brother’s game though he eventually took it back with him and since then I haven’t been able to find it!!
