B!Ninja: B!Zane a.k.a Ace

(I wanted a name that started with the letter A and couldn't come up with anything better. While I do like to headcanon this character as ace, the name "Ace" doesn't have the same vibe as Zane and I would change it if there's better names that start with A)

Some of the information here may change, like appearance. This character will hopefully get more refined and defined later on. Think of this like a beta version of the character

- Main colour: Pink

- the rest of the bninja were initially against it because the colour doesn't seem intimidating but Ace would later prove himself to be intimidating regardless of what colour he's wearing

- the name started off as just A

- Ya know how Echo was supposed to be Mr. E

- It's like that

- When the team was supposed to come up with new names on the spot, he wanted to come up with a name that started with the letter A but took too long so the other bninja covered for him and called him A.

- Later he chose Ace as his name

- didn't find out that he's a robot until he got damaged in a prison fight

-which happened on day 1 of when the bninja ended up in prison

- while Ace was freaking out, the bninja was all like, "that actually explains a lot", "I should've seen this coming", "this isn't that surprising, really".

- this is the most supportive these guys can be at this point

- Ace thought that Zane didn't know about this up until their next fight, where Zane was like "Oh, ok" with his sweet innocent smile and Ace got confused cause this revelation should've freaked him out-

- he realized quickly that Zane has known about this for a while and proceeds to taunt Zane about possible existential crises for the rest of the fight

- he's doing that because he's experiencing those existential crises as well and he won't actually have a proper conversation like normal people

- at this point, he probably doesn't trust the bninja all that much to have that conversatio

- acts like he's undisturbed by this but secretly has a hard time fully accepting that he's a robot

- he got double existential crises because not only he's a robot who's so good at mimicking humans that even he didn't know about it, he's also a freaking evil clone

- thinks that he's twice as less real as everyone else

- he's more self aware of his behaviour and way of talking and often try to adjust himself to not be too obviously robotic or weird or out of place or not human-

- appears cold and stand-off-ish.

- seems to avoid physical touch, especially when he's experiencing robot angst

- he doesn't need to be as big as Cliff (B!Cole) to be intimidating, his cold piercing stare is enough to make people back off

- wears the most piercings

- it legit increases his signal range wtf

- ok so he initially didn't have internet connection so Robin (B!Jay) suggested that he upgrade himself and uses his robotic features to his advantage. Ace was uncomfortable with it at first but later do it relunctantly since the team are really under-equipped at this point and need every advantage they can get. He only modded himself beyond what's necessary when he fully accepted his robotic features

- his memory switch doesn't actually contain past memories since Ace is freshly created and isn't decades old like Zane

- Ace avoids touching it when he found it (and I'll hopefully come up with a scenario where the switch will be touched. I have no idea what to do with it rn tho)

- Ace turned off his "anti-gravity hair" switch and lets his hair droops down (he isn't titanium, therefore his hair isn't one solid piece)

- he keeps his hair down, with the hair around his eyes parted away (I'm still unsure with the hairstyle)

- and he dyes it brown to look more natural

- among the bninja, he felt the most strongly to not appear similar his og counterpart

- more calculating than Zane

- thinks that he's the brains of this operation and everything would fall apart without him

- he also says this outloud by implying it whenever he was being upset at the gang

- he's not exactly wrong though

- King (B!Kai) can get easily riled up, Robin's only smart when it comes to tinkering and Cliff, well he does think but he rarely ever speaks up unless he has to

- Ace thinks he's the logical dad babysitting a bunch of children but doesn't realize that he can get as emotional as the rest of these idiots

- also all of them are evil babies who are poofed into existence by a magic staff. They're all the same age and none of them can claim seniority rights over one another.

- represses his emotions

- those emotions does explode from time to time

- sarcastic little shit

- acts innocent, even if the bninja knows that he isn't

- is soft spoken, even when cursing and threatening someone

- messes with other people in small ways to express his frustration

- ok he's a passive aggressive motherfucker when pissed off

- found out that he has a curse censor switch within less than a week of existing because the bninja were in jail and Robin wouldn't stop complaining with his dumb potty mouth

- he, of course, turned it off

- he keeps the switch around because Robin's long string of curses can be turned into a sick beat.

- "Beep bip beep bip"

- he shares the audio with the other bninja and they laugh about it behind Robin's back

- Robin later finds out and gets back at them by cursing in a specific way that translates into morse code that says "Fuck you".

- often clashes heads against King when it comes to mission planning

- Ace's plans are more intricate and does seem to cover a lot of unexpected angles but they tend to require perfect timing and isn't as flexible as King's.

- through his arguments with King, they manage to point out each other's flaws and fix the holes in their plans

Idk what to put but maybe something like combining Fractured Fractal and Stolen Spark where both Kai and Zane are captured by the Bizarros and Zane agrees to tell the Bizarros everything to stop them from torturing Kai? So he has guilt over "willingly" putting the rest of his team in danger?

Instructions unclear, I’ve written too much for one shot.

His head jerked with the rough yanking of away of his blindfold. He blinked rapidly at the bright light shining in his eyes – and immediately focused on the figure sitting across from him.

Kai was staring at him intently, eyebrows furrowed in a frown. Another hand painfully wrenched his jaw around, and Kai jerked under a gag wrapped around his mouth.

Zane struggled under the hand clamped under his jaw. He fought to keep his eyes on Kai, but the hand insistently jerked him to the side to focus on their captor. A chill raced down his spine at the sight of Bizarro Cole staring him in the face.

“Hey, Snowball.”

That had Kai thrashing again; Zane could hear the clattering of his chair against the concrete floor.

He steeled his gaze at the double. “You do not call me that.”

Bizarro Cole’s hand tightened on his jaw. “Why not?” More clattering made him roll his eyes. “Ah, your little Fireball’s a bit competitive? Is that it?” He shrugged, and finally released his bruising grip. Zane worked his sore jaw for a moment while the bizarro stalked around them.

Bizarro Cole trailed a hand along his shoulders. It sat heavily on him, like a snake. “You got nothin’ to worry about, Fireball,” he teased. “I’m not one for popsicles.”

Somehow the words weren’t reassuring. “Release us,” Zane growled.

The bizarro shrugged. “Sure.” Zane raised an eyebrow. “Just tell me what I wanna know, and you’ll be running back to the old man in no time.”

Zane stiffened. “We will never betray them.”

Something dark flashed in the double’s eyes. His mouth quirked up in a smile, and he moved back behind Kai’s back. The fire ninja struggled in his chair, rocking it off of its legs and twisting to look back at the bizarro.

He set his hands on Kai’s shoulders, making the chair slam into place. “See,” he sighed. “Our own frosty thought you might say that.”

Another chilling voice echoed from behind him, making Zane twist in his own chair to find its source. “Which is why we elected to invest in…a more direct method of communication.”

A choking sound had Zane whirling back to Bizarro Cole, who had a hand wrapped firmly around the fire ninja’s throat. Zane let out a cry and struggled against his restraints – Kai was writhing against the hand strangling him, but he was turning redder with every second that passed.

Zane wrenched his limbs against the rope – why couldn’t he freeze them? He couldn’t take his eyes off of Kai – “Stop!” He yelled. “Stop, you can not – you will kill him!”

Bizarro Cole simply looked coolly in Zane’s direction. “Yeah, yeah…” he agreed. “I will. Pretty soon, too, if Frosty’s info is right.” He tilted his head, that familiar smirk from before on his face. “So you better start talking.”

Zane frantically looked between the smug double and Kai’s face. His lips were turning blue – his eyes were starting to glaze over –

“Fine! Please – I will tell you what you need to know, just please, stop!”

Kai’s resulting coughs and wheezes painfully echoed in the room around them. Zane listened tearfully as he sucked in air before glaring at Bizarro Cole.

He rolled his eyes at the nindroid’s angry face. “Oh don’t look at me like that, Snowball.” He casually stretched his arms in front of him. “Now that we’ve made our point, we just want to have a conversation.” Zane warily watched him circle Kai, whose chest was still heaving. “Tell us where the kid is.”

Kai and Zane both froze at the question.

“I-I do not know to whom you are referring.” Zane denied.

Bizarro Cole squeezed down on Kai’s shoulder – Zane saw the way the ninja stiffened under the grip. It was crushing him. “Don’t give me that crap, Snowball.” Kai had a poisonous look in his eyes. “You know where you stashed him, you just gotta tell me.”

The nindroid shook his head. “No – I – no I do not know.”

A dark look settled on the bizarro’s face. “I don’t think you and I are having a good conversation, Snowball.” He shrugged. “Maybe we got our wires crossed.” He looked up to a point behind Zane’s head. “You speak nindroid; why don’t you take a shot?”

“Fine,” Bizarro Zane finally stepped out from behind him. “Although why we do not just do as I suggested in the first place,”

Bizarro Cole cut him off with a grin. “Don’t be like that, Frosty,” he scolded. “We just want a little information, no need to be rude.”

The bizarro nindroid gave him a disinterested look before taking his place next to Kai. He held up a hand misting with cold.

“Tell us where you hid Lloyd Garmadon or I will freeze him where he sits.”

About my Wgw au! (where the bizarro’s are good)

-They all adopted Garmadon as their dad

-”Pop that kid’s balloon” “No! That’s mean!!”

- Garmadon is done with life but has to keep them because the bizarros got attached to him.

-The ninjas are confused

-Lloyd now have 4 siblings (younger? cause they technically only existed for a few days)

-They wear sunglasses so that people won’t be scared of them
