Sooo I've seen a few fan accounts from people who didn't enjoy the concert and that makes me really sad since I had the greatest time ever!! So I thought I'd post about my own experience. @-@
Let me start by saying holy crap I didn't know that Kpop was so popular over here in the UK let alone B.A.P. There were thousands of people there for sure and the queue went on for milesss. People had been queueing since I think 6am?? But i.m.o I don't think that was necessary (unless you really wanna taste oppa's sweat) because I rolled up an hour before the doors opened and still had the greatest view ever because the floor at Brixton Academy slopes (it used to be a theatre) so you can see wherever you stand. My photos are pretty crappy but I swear to you I could see EVERYTHING.
I've seen some fan accounts complaining about the people, but I went alone and met some really nice and really cool people and I didn't feel alone at all!!
They sold merch before you went into the concert hall, light sticks, hoodies, tees, posters etc. (But idk if it'll be like this for every venue)
Anyway. Not gonna write about everything but I'm gonna write about the 10 things that stood out for me:
THE INTRO. Holy crap. There was this huge screen showing what appeared to be a news report about UFO sightings, then it started to get all jittery and fuzzy and crackly and loud and I SWEAR THE ROOM WAS SHAKING and omg everyone was screaming it was freaking awesome. Then the screen started to raise and boom, there were the boys. Cue even more intense screaming wowowo.
They did a ton of songs before introducing themselves but my favourite was definitely Badman (b/c it's my favourite anyway). Everyone went freaking crazy when the beat dropped, felt like a mosh pit. SO AWESOME.
BODY AND SOUL. Where did my ovaries go holy fkcin woah.
They did this cute little coffee shop sketch where they asked the front members of the audience what they wanted to drink. I'm not jealous nope not at all. This was obv followed by the song.
Hurricane was INCREDIBLE. And, ANDDDDD when Himchan held the mic out to the audience, I s2g nobody said 'loof' but everyone said 'roof'. THANK YOU UK BABYZ.
At one point the members went off to change or something, and this black screen came up with instructions to do this dance which would make you the most attractive human on Earth. It was a pretty simple dance which involved like, bending knees and high fiving people and touching your head but it was incredibly fun, and hilarious toooo.
The members themselves were incredibly freakiing sweet, they spoke in English the whole way through and worked really hard on getting everything right. They talked about Harry Potter, fish & chips, tea etc and kept saying they loved London. At one point I forgot I was at a Kpop concert because they were interacting with us beautifully. There was a lot of fanservice too mostly from Jongup
There was a video about remembering somebody you used to be in love with and bro, I teared up. /cries forever. Then they sung Rain sound and it was soooo beautiful. I've not been a big fan of this song but I swear after seeing it live it's now my favourite. There was a lot of emotion. I cried a lot.
1004. Possibly the highlight of my night. I don't know how to explain how amazing it was live ughughh I took a fancam if anyone wants to watch that, but they were absolute perfection.
UK fans are lovely. Everyone was so hyped, bouncing around n stuff. I think, overall, it was an incredible gig because everyone was so hyped, so friendly. I don't know if this was to do with where I was stood, but I didn't get pushed or anything, and I wasn't that far from the stage.
