Absolutely stunned by how tiny babaulti shrimplets are compared with neocaridina. I thought the berried one dropped her eggs until I finally started seeing some about a week later.

Anyway, these are all 1-2 weeks old and about the size of a day-old cherry shrimplet. You can kind of see some medium-sized ostracods for scale.

#her shell is so opaque i couldn't see her eggs until she moved up a bit after i took the vid #tomorrow the rest are scheduled to be moved to the main tank #but i think i'll keep her here for now to make sure she doesn't drop the eggs #there's also no fish and obviously plenty of detritus for her shrimplets to grow a bit #shrimpblr #shrimp #babaulti
