5. what about their backstory makes me emotionaloof so much? she is tiny when we first meet her, I think 19? and she’s been out on the streets for years. she’s good at being a pickpocket and a thief and a street kid, which is heartbreaking because she’s had to be. she was running from an abusive home, and yet so many of her contacts are family. how many of them knew and did nothing, how many of them let her suffer through that when she was just a kid? not to mention the sheer potential for tragedy in her time on the streets - how many friends did she lose, what did she have to do to survive, how many times did something like the pilot happen with no Bo around to save her? for all that the fae nearly got her killed on the regular, her life got a whole lot better the day she met Bo

Who’s the best gift giver? Do they go in on gifts or do it separately? Chidi. Tahani goes for extravagance, because she’s used to valuing money, and being in that world. Eleanor just thinks of something last minute and asks Janet. Chidi plans way ahead of time to make thoughtful gifts, like the painting for Tahani. They go in separately, I think, though maybe on occasion work together for something, like a beautiful party for Tahani, or something meaningful for Chidi.
Sleeping arrangements: Do they push the beds together? Who takes all of the blankets in bed? Who’s practically draped over the others? They just get a giant bed in Tahani’s mansion (so they can escape the clowns), and suprisingly Chidi steals the blankets, but Eleanor is absolutely draped over them both, taking up about two-thirds of the bed with her sprawling.
Who is always in the middle in triad cases? I think they’re all in the middle fairly often, but I think Eleanor is there the most.
How do date nights look like? Picnics on the lake, or a nice dinner if the current town food theme is decent, or maybe Chidi cooking at home sometimes. Once they settle into it, Eleanor and Tahani getting ready in some big bathroom in the mansion, easily moving around each other as they do makeup and find the right outfit.
Do any members get jealous? How do they act when they do? I think the perk of there only being the four of them (the triad + Jason, sorta Michael and Janet), is that there’s nobody really to get jealous of. There might be fleeting jealousy of ‘they’re talking about this thing I don’t understand’ but the others notice eventually and kiss them to make up for it.
Who asked who out? How was the first date(s)? Eleanor was complaining to Janet about how she and Tahani both loved Chidi, and how Chidi liked them both, and she was definitely legit into Tahani but really into Chidi too, and Janet was like ‘well... would you like me to teach you about polyamory?’ And Eleanor was !!! She roped the other two into a class led by Janet instead all about polyamory 101, including different types of relationship formations and compersion and ETHICAL nonmonogamy and after Janet was done and they were sitting there still trying to process all the information just went ‘So, will you both go out with me? Tonight???’The date went surprisingly well, all things considered.
Who brings home stray pets and convinces the others to keep them? I’m not sure there are stray pets in the Bad Place, but if there ever are, this is 100% Chidi. “We can’t leave them to the demons!!!”
Who are the reckless ones that make Bad Decisions? Who are the sensible ones who follow after them to make sure they don’t die? Chidi doesn’t make bad decisions because he doesn’t make decisions. Eleanor is the reckless one that they have to make sure doesn’t die reveal them/end up in worse trouble.
Who’s the one who remembers everyone’s favorite orders at cafes/restaurants? Tahani
Would/do they have kids? Who are the Responsible Parents, who are the Cool Parents™ to the polywogs? Again, not sure they can have kids here? But I think they would if they were in a situation where they could. Eleanor is the Cool one who lets the kids get away with stuff, Chidi is super strict, Tahani is overly loving because of her own distant shitty parents.
If you could go on an adventure during the remaining days of the year, where would you go and what would you do? Who would you go this?You, me, Roxy, Sarah, and possibly my friend Alex if he wanted, and my college friends too now that they’re on break, can go to Canada because I really want to visit Canada. Or to London/Europe in general. The journey and the people are far more important than the destination.
