Babs Kendall tosses out a gag idea and a fashion idea. While the winter coat suggestion follows -- she had a winter coat design for Betty (within the context of a page concept not attributed to her that Archie and Decarlo would go back to repeatedly over the decades)-- the pin up suggestion raises the question -- precisely what was Babs's suggestion? Was it Veronica's fashion, or the "literal definition for hit the roof" for punchline? Was she the one behind "And How!!" , two exclamation marks?
