Imagine this: A deerclops wishing sooo badly to be a mamaclops but mating season is almost over! Finally she gets a mate last minute, but as a result the baby is born really close to summer. So she has to work her hardest to keep the baby from overheating, and also fed enough to survive hibernation. It's a story of hard struggle for a mamaclops and babyclops, with the chances of survival even less likely than normal! ))
Some babyclopses take some of their mamas shed wool and pretend its their own baby
When babyclopses are in danger, they hide away in mamas fur, so they feel safest holding onto her. The darkness from being in the fur also encourages sleep.
