nobody with sideburns this thick is ever to be trusted
...They were drawing lots for who got to wear which costume.
I think I like this show already.
All right, it’s time for the second patron-picked liveblog!
To catch everyone up–I’ve recently instituted a new tier on my Patreon where you get to pick one liveblogging session a month (a whole ten minute episode or half a twenty-minute episode). I had all three slots go pretty quickly, and, strangely, all three patrons picked shows that were twenty minutes long–so I’ll be doing three half-episodes, one for each show, before the end of the month, and finishing all three next month. The second one I’m tackling is Baccano.
For those just tuning in for the first time, I am a liveblog! I go through shows I’ve never seen before and record my thoughts and reactions in blog form. If you don’t want to see my posts in the Baccano tag, please blacklist the tag baccabloggin. Either way, please do not reply to any of my posts with spoilers for things I haven’t seen yet. Most of my questions are going to be rhetorical–it’s actually very rare for one not to be, and I prefer to have fun speculating.
Anyways, what do I know about Baccano going in?
Absolutely nothing.
Seriously, I’d never even heard of this show before people started asking me to liveblog it, and my entire experience with it is people going OH HELL YES when I mention it being a patron pick. I have no idea why people are so excited about this show, and that, in and of itself, is exciting.
Shall we, then?
is this a show about a team of goofy thieves Doing Crimes
