Crochet

So I can’t remember if I posted this or not but I found out I have been crocheting wrong for years. I only grab the back loop with my hook. No one ever told me! I am not really sure when it started but I think it developed over time. I have been trying to crochet “properly”. Its a little frustrating at first but I am getting the hang of it. For something I only grab the back loop cause I like how it looks.I am just trying to round out my crocheting. Maybe that is why I can’t pattern?
