I see an anon asking around about the Super Duper Hug Bug. Chris Hatch claims that his Lot Cleaner will remove (as in remove, NOT as in just-hide-it-and-keep-casually-spreading-it) the bug from any lot it is used on.

Hi, I found out BackAlleySims is closing next month. I tried to go on and download a few items but I'm having trouble logging on. I'm not sure if it's because of my internet (because it's 1990's terrible) or because it's closing. If you have any of the items, could you consider uploading them if you're able to and don't mind, please?

Oh man, I’m glad they gave a warning in advance about that (and thanks for the heads up since I log in there maybe once a year myself so I very likely would have seen it only after it’s already gone). For some reason I seemingly didn’t log in at first either but simply opening a random thread showed me as logged in anyway so try if the threads open up.

I’m really not sure what all I should attempt grabbing from there, probably the (adult) hacks ‘cause people will be looking for those and Chris Hatch and BobbyTH's stuff but how important are the other things to people? I’d really recommend anyone who might need something grabbed from there to grab it now since it’s likely I won’t be able to make backup of everything.

Hello!! I must say before anything, I love your work, it's just amazing!! But, I've been desperately looking for a Mod by Chris Hatch from Back Alley Sims, it's a Hospital Mod, I simply can't find it anywhere, the site is unavailable an it seems like no one has the link, I really want to find it, do you have any idea about it, or any mod like this? Thank you ❤

The family friendly files from Chris Hatch were reuploaded to MTS here and if you scroll down a little (or hit ctrl+f and type hospital) you’ll find it there. If you’re looking for their adult mods, those should eventually be uploaded to Chris Hatch’s section at http://mambacity.rx22.ru/ (registeration required)

Would you know where I could find Chris Hatch’s Workplace mod? I looked in the thread on MTS but no luck!

Is that the one called “Control Go To Work”? (You place certain sign/item on a lot to turn it into work place pretty much) Then yes I have it and reuploaded it here. It also includes Globe since it was required according to it’s description. You also need to have at least Bon Voyage for it to work.

Disclaimer: No support is offered for this mod from this blog, I don’t use it, I don’t know how it works, I can’t help you if something goes wrong. Backup your game before installing so if something bad happens you can retrieve a backup.

Hi anon, not rude question at all! They are still available over at Backalleysims but you need to be registered to be able to download them, each of the links in that modthesims thread goes directly to the posts so if you want something you can just quickly make account and grab them. (Unless they’ve disabled making new accounts already, I honestly don’t know.) 

I did make backup of all(?) the mods on that site but at the moment I’m waiting to see if Chris Hatch decides to reupload them somewhere himself since obviously he’s the best option for someone to keep them available and offer support for them. + the site is technically still alive so I’m holding back from uploading anything from there until it’s really gone.

about BlackalleySims, I have not been able to create an accout (possibly because I registered years ago, never posted, and was banned?). It's incredibly annoying, now that I want to check if I have everything from there that I want...

Maybe try with another email address? You can make disposable one easily with 10minutemail although they might have blocked such addresses. But it’s worth a try yes? It’s honestly ridiculous to ban people just because they haven’t posted on board where you require them to have account to even browse it. :/

Then it unfortunately looks like it’s not possible to make accounts anymore at this point. It makes sense since it’s dying site but still a shame for anyone who would have wanted to grab stuff from there before it’s gone. :(
