Part of the background information before the ask blog begins:
Long story short, I came up with this headcanon for Morro's temper. What if Mystake is his great aunt? And Mystake's brother is Morro's grandfather? Mystake's brother has a daughter, and when Mystake expresses her plan to leave the army and venture to a quiet life to her brother's wife, she persuades Mystake to take their child with her due to her husband's violent tendencies. Reluctantly she does, and this is known as Morro's mother. Morro's mother marries a human, and they have a child that's 50% Oni. This child is Morro.
Of course this is all hidden from the surface, both Mystake and Morro's mother still have the ability to shapeshift and use it to disguise themselves. However, a slip up occurs, and Morro's dad realizes his wife's true identity. With the help of an angry mob, they hunt her down and kill her. The whereabouts of Morro's grandparents unknown, Mystake takes him in and raises him as she had a close relationship with his mom. She never liked his dad and expected this to happen.
Mystake does well, though she doesn't tell Morro of his Oni bloodline out of fear that he will end up like his mother did. Instead she teaches him to hide it, until it works against her. Morro has an outburst and ends up hurting another child, and when confronted with his part-Oni form, he panicks, and then directs his anger towards Mystake for not telling him.
This is one of the many mistakes Mystake claims she has made.
He runs off, and she is unable to find him, that is until Wu shows up and takes him in. During a tea run, Wu talks to Mystake about this little child he's found. Mystake recognizes the description, but says nothing, as she notices he is much happier (and so is Wu) where he is. With that she says nothing, simply letting them go and avoiding any contact with Morro whatsoever.
The outburst of the green ninja reveals his Oni blood to Wu. Wu, too horrified to do anything about it, simply lets it happen.
Once Wu expresses he cannot find Morro, and he's run off, Mystake then tells him about her relation to the child. Wu is the only one who knows these things, and nobody has contact with Morro's dad. Morro has not willingly gone looking for him, which may be for the best, since Morro is his next target.
If Morro survived and was in season 9, this would be when his relationship with Mystake is unveiled to the resistance as a sub-plot. :)
Well, after the grandfather's first child was taken, he found out it was his wife that took her away. He kills his wife, and marries another. They give birth to a male Oni, who becomes the heir to the throne. Omega.
That being said, Omega is Morro's step-uncle of sorts.
Despite always maintaining pale skin, white Oni streaks can be seen as the first sign of his anger. Even after calming down, the marks take forever to disappear, longer depending on how far into his anger he became.
His horns are black, and it takes quite alot to make them show. He rarely gets this angry, but once he's calmed down, they're quick to retract, unlike the markings.
He has Oni fangs 24/7. Always.
Lloyd and him use this as a bonding point when they realize they have it in common- they're good at sharing tips such as "how to avoid biting a hole in your tounge trying to eat Cole's impossibly rock hard steak" and Lloyd has some (admittedly horrible) makeup tips at covering up the Oni markings when they make their appearance, since he has those too. Unlike Morro, his dragon blood balances him out, and besides the fangs and Oni markings making an appearance, he has no issues with horns.
However, the best in calming either of them down is Nya, since their short tempers work against them. The anger's almost contagious, and it's easy for one of them to get the other worked up, and then you have TWO feral angry gremlins running around. Kai's too harsh about it and tends to act the same way, Jay's too terrified to get close to either, Cole doesn't really know how to handle it, and Zane lacks much in the way of emotional support. He'd be able to give logical support, which sometimes works, but Morro and Lloyd are both more likely to react emotionally when that far into an anger reaction.
