We end up chewing less & eating too fast, at the wrong times or for the wrong reasons
All which can lead to poor digestion & an unhealthy realationship with food . Becoming a mindful eater played a huge role in my recovery from disordered eating because it allowed me to take control in a healthy way
It helped TREMENDOUSLY with my digestion & allowed me to stop rushed, mindless eating that would leave me feeling anxious & out of control Mindful eating assisted me in developing a loving relationship with my body
And allowed me to see fueling it, not only as a pleasurable experience for myself, but also as an act of kindness & appreciation for all it does for me .
