i got rhythm heaven groove yesterday and it's so much fun. i missed thi series so much

if i had to rank all the games from favorite to least favorite it'd be: 1. Fever 2. Tengoku 3. Groove 4. Megamix (Gold is the only one ive never played)

Something interesting about Rhythm Heaven Groove is they added a special feature called "Silly Lyrics", in which they add English words that sound like Japanese words in the songs.

And needless to say, it is pretty hilarious. Reminds me of those early YouTube captions.

wait i figured out why backup spotlight is so difficult for me, it’s cuz it’s a keep-the-beat with extra cues and more complicated controls. so if you mess up, it can totally throw you off with little wiggle room to get back on track

so , imo, a very good challenge

it’s both deceivingly complex and deceivingly simple: the controls seem a lot to handle at first, but it’s really just pressing a on the upbeats and alternating left and right arrow. but getting into that pattern allows the brain to zone out, so when a cue is missed/misread, you (i) panic, disorientingly snapped back to attention, not knowing where the hell you (i) are, costing basically your (my) whole flow
