Throwing it back to the very last time I rode a roller coaster, back in 2006. I might look a little terrified, but looks can be deceiving. I absolutely loved every second. I would always stay on as long as they would let me. In fact, me and my friend probably rode the superman 10 times that day. We competed with each other on who could scream the loudest and make the biggest fool of themselves. Riding a roller coaster made me feel free, and gave me the biggest rush. • One of the first questions I asked my doctor after getting the pump was "Wait, can I still ride roller coasters?" She wasn't expecting that question. She explained why it wasn't safe for me to ride anymore and also explained why my dream of skydiving would stay just that--a dream. I'm glad I was told all of this after I had my pump put in because I think my younger self would've chosen riding roller coasters and jumping out of planes. But, I can say the sacrifice was worth it because gaining independence is a hell of a lot better adrenaline rush 😆😝 #tbt #rollercoaster #adrenalinerush #sixflags #superman #skydiving #baclofenpump #independence #disability #cerebralpalsy #scream #happiness #blog #blogger #rush #love
