@hellion-cat Heyo, sorry it took a bit but you asked how I did my shading soooo
A few other things:
The "terminal light" (idk if I'm using that term right) I only put around the edge of the shadow when I shade skin. The darker blue shadow I put in darker areas usually opposite of the terminal light
The warm glow I get for my pieces comes from a few things:
I tend to use warm color palettes when I color my works. I've been leaning into it a lot more
I always do my flat colors like this: I fill in everything in one layer with on color (I call this my BaseLayer), then I make a group and add 3 layers in it. I then clip that group to the Base Layer. I then do my flats in the grouped layers. When I'm done, I lower the opacity of the grouped layer to 95% so whatever color the BaseLayer is shows in just enough
Overlays. Just a shit ton of overlays. Absolutely destroy it with overlays
