“The Third Installation” Twinky I absolutely LOVE that and I think it should be used for all of the Bad Batch babies from here on out (especially regarding Hunter’s bunch XD) jfjdjdhd thank you for your enthusiasm on sir baby Jude.
Although you do not want me to spill all the beans, some of the beans are kind of sad, some of them are tragic even.
But yes, Crosshair has a third bebo and he is precious.🥰😩
Just another headcannon set-
Cleaning up how their childhood was spent, cause apparently no one can read my mind and I actually have to write out my HCs so ya'll understand my fics more (no one told me :|).
◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
Wrecker's the oldest, three months older than Hunter (six months) Crosshair at six (a year) and Wrecker's year older than Tech (clone aging makes it two)
So growing up on Kamino, the Bad Batch was in the med bay area a lot. Mainly they were being used as test subjects going through dozens of procedures to find out why they were defective and eventually, how they got their 'desirable' mutations.
Throughout their childhood, they started slowly moving into their med room, the Kamionions didn't mind, it was easier to access them and medical supplies when they had another test.
Wrecker was put through a lot of physical tests, so he was usually in the training area lifting a bunch of weights all day. He was usually good for the first half of the week but then he'd full on crash. They soon discovered they had to feed him a lot more often and give him power naps before getting back to work. When he was in the med bay, it was usually just standard check ups.
Wrecker was scared, a lot. He didn't know how strong he actually was and he was always worried he'd be playing with his brothers and hurt them. He broke Crosshair's arm once and he felt absolutely terrible.
Hunter had a fair share of physical drills, but they connected frequency transmitters to his head to test how far in the electromagnetic spectrum he could sense and the size. Which resulted in a bunch of headaches. They also started playing with his nerves. He had an ice pack for his head and a big jug of water. Let's just say he was in a whole lot of pain for a whole lot of his childhood.
The other three never knew cause he was always taking care of them.
Hunter was angry growing up. He was angry because slack was so hard to get. It wasn't fair. Everytime he fought for himself and brothers he'd get punished, but then he meet 99. And his eyes opened.
Tech was constantly traveling throughout Kamino fixing their technology and making enhancements to it. When he was younger they did a lot of surgery to fix his eyes and ears. But couldn't get it to where the ideal clone template stood.
They eventually gave in and let Tech teach them something. He helped build his glasses and built the corrective hearing device, which they placed next to his chip in surgery.
Tech was in the medbay most days and didn't mind. He had his computers, traveling with Kamionions to fix things. So he didn't mind his state of affairs growing up, dare he say he liked it. But he'd be sitting in the medbay and look to Crosshair, who always looked so miserable and Tech felt he shouldn't express his happiness cause Crosshair wasn't getting anything. He didn't want to make him feel worse.
Since Tech was so much weaker than his brothers, they tried a few medications (That only made his sick) when that failed he a very special plan to gain him some muscles. (Weights and even nastier food)
Crosshair had to deal with a lot of scans and tests testing his eyes. He grew to have a sensitivity to overly bright lights.
He was very sick most of his childhood, the Kamionions didn't particularly pay attention to him so he felt like crap a lot of the time, he spent most days just laying around in bed until they needed him again. He grew to hate those tests and started fighting the droids, Hunter had to calm him down most times.
When he was up and about he was almost always with an enscort, he'd see cadets point to him. Crosshair definitely looks different from them and his hair only added to things cadets could point out. He'd always get so upset and want to cry, but one day he just wasn't gonna take it and went cold, oh so very cold.
Wrecker had a bed, but he scooted it next to Crosshair's for a bigger bed. So when they all came back to sleep, they didn't talk to their gloomy brother, but he'd always fall asleep with them.
That was the one thing they looked forward to, falling asleep together, because they were all still together and survived another day.
