This director is bad news. Mostly because he had conflicts with many artists in the past, and he's known for his toxic behavior on set
Conflict with George Clooney on Three Kings (1999)
During the filming of Three Kings, George Clooney described his experience as "the worst of his life." According to Clooney, Russell was abusive toward the crew and actors, even going so far as to essentially assault an extra. When Clooney stepped in to defend the extra, Russell allegedly essentially assaulted him, leading to a confrontation between the two.
📹 Incident with Lily Tomlin on I Heart Huckabees (2004)
In 2004, video from the set of I Heart Huckabees was leaked showing Russell yelling and throwing objects during an argument with actress Lily Tomlin. Despite the altercation, Tomlin later downplayed the incident and expressed her willingness to work with him again.

And this is what's been made public. Can you imagine what he's capable of doing with the cast and crew of any of his films?
Now, Jenna will be working with him, and I fear something similar could happen to her. She has a bit more artistic clout within the industry, but if Russell was able to have issues with artists with a higher cachet than Jenna's, what could that man do to her?
The saddest part is that there's nothing we can do except complain and try to ask anyone close to her to talk her out of it, but not even Jenna's mother wants to listen. I'm afraid that if that man harms Jenna in any way, there's nothing we can do to protect her.
