Bad dnd character idea:

A fae Paladin who realized that the oath they made is itself a type of contract, the tenants of which may hold slightly different meaning or allow for loopholes when translated into different languages. Because of this, the fae has a thesaurus, translator book, and dictionary in every language on hand at all times. This leads to nonsense. Example:

“I thought you took an oath to protect the well being of the people?!”

“I did, just that, in Abyssal, well being doesn’t refer to the physical health of someone, but rather the intactness of their soul, and I can assure you their souls are still intact in the gem on this magic sword I killed them with.”

bad character idea: japanese scientist/coder who's convinced his coworkers have gone delusional (because they have) but he's seen as the delusional one in the situation and the only one who agrees with him is the guy at the workplace who's really kind yet nobody likes him so when one of his colleagues tries to get him murdered for being 'delusional' he gets himself murdered by the coworker nobody likes and he does escape being murdered, but he leaves behind a poorly written will where he leaves his video game collection to his grandpa in his panic

Bad character idea, serial serial killer killer. Lawful evil, only kills serial killers, and does the work of the detectives for them by putting all the evidence with the corpses. Bonus points if this character is actually one of the detectives who works serial killer cases. they always make sure they have the real culprit before killing them.

Bad dnd character idea: a halfling college of whispers (or spirits, I don’t remember which one has the stories) or a college of creation bard who’s been cursed by a hag (because of a deal their parents made) to look like the crops their parents grew. For example, carrots would be orange skin and green hair. They have the chef feat, because despite their differences, they believe a good meal is all you need (not uncommon for a halfling), but they have a particular sweet tooth, favoring chocolate. Take the mirror image spell, too.

I think you all saw where this was going.

Bad dnd character idea:

A plasmoid shepherd druid with the ruined background. Flavor the Plasmoid to be a swarm of rats. You are the disgraced rat king on a quest to reclaim your throne. Why shepherd druid? To summon your soldiers of course. If your DM is cool and not a total dick, when you cast Conjure Animals, they’ll let you summon swarms of rats in place of just a single rat.

A ruined background (take alert) custom lineage human gloomstalker Ranger with the gunner and sharpshooter feats. He uses a flintlock pistol or revolver as his main weapon. His goal is to find an outlaw with a bounty on his head. He comes from the far away town of Arizona.
