Just (ram-wise) exploded my computer from trying to make a web extension for myself
I made the mistake of making it try to update every frame of having my browser open on tumblr.com and my machine froze completely at like 0.002 fps, i could barely if any even move my mouse around the screen
I've achieved the effect of almost basically forkbombing myself without a forkbomb
I don't necessarily blame the people who had to set up this new layout because I'm sure they're overworked, underpaid and just doing what they're told. But I WILL take whoever made the design choice to slap a big fucking useless banner at the top of a page with a button that doesn't work by the shoulders and start shaking them like a bobblehead.
I just get a notification for a 6 day old memeuless vid and I'm really confused. Is YouTube ok? I mean we all know it's not ok but. Like what is the code? How do work?
tumblr, what is the fucking point of putting an x in the corner with a snarky comment that says exactly what I'm thinking if you keep showing me the same blog after that year after year that I always click the x on the corner for? Are you bullying me with things I don't like or what? you think this is fucking funny asshole?
twitter errors that took me the fuck out
I wonder how many $millions I'd have to buy advertising for before staff listened to my complaints about the shitty accessibility on this site?
Oh great, I can't scroll down on my dash on the mobile browser version either now? @staff, what have you done with the code now?? Thank goodness I can still access the desktop version - ironically, that's often that version that works best on mobile since it's less reduced and more flexible (and lets you zoom in!). The floating javascript navigation banners are a scourge upon the net in any browser version of course, but with desktop at least you can ZOOM OUT so thay they don't take up 1/3 of the screen. I'm sorry, I just have really strong feelings about suddenly not being able to access my favorite social media anymore due to bad coding choices and lack of backwards compatibility for those of us who can't afford to buy new hardware every 5 years or so.
