Usually, I leave the words "triggered" or "triggering" to the leftists/liberals and harmless memers, but it's about the only word that describes something I just had the misfortune to see. Ben Shapiro would've gone into immediate cardiac arrest.

And it all boils down to: keep your kids off the internet.

If your kid is younger than 18, is on the internet, and has a five-mile-long DNI list full of the most snowflake, no-backbone-having, picky, frankly dumbest "requirements" known to mankind-- why are they even allowed access to the internet and other people on it? If kids feel the need to have that many ridiculous "boundaries" (because the one I have in mind is truly idiotic. At this point wrap yourself in bubble wrap and stay home) they are NOT mentally mature enough to be out in the digital world.

Granted, some boundaries are GOOD to have on the internet! It's okay if you don't feel comfortable talking with someone 5+ years older than you. That's perfectly normal. Where the HECK are your parents or guardian(s)?

If you have DNI lists that are a mile long, I find it hard to respect your actions. Time and time again I've seen it used to exclude minorities. I'm not talking about things like SA and whatnot. But the whole if you have an ED (I'm not talking about pro ana, that's a whole other mess) or you're trans or you have some sort of weird kink or you're an adult that accidentally re blogs a minors post. I've seen DNIs about liking Steven Universe and Harry Potter. Like you're gonna exclude everyone that happens to enjoy wildly popular media??? One day we're gonna have to look outside of our tumblr bubble. Listening to other people's opinions helps you grow as a person. I'm just tired of everything being an exclusionary game on this site
