“What I don't like is that Thomas Astruc explained some episodes/moments on Twitter. If you have to explain things like this outside of the show, then it's a red flag about writing.”
Yuumori fans, I'd like you to convince Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of it being perfect.
I mean this blessed man caused many masterpieces and addaptations to be born out of his stories; RDJ's Sherlock Holmes, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and BBC Sherlock. Yuumori lost its chance. Sir Arthur'd have sued anyone who worked on this.
I still cry over how much wasted potential it has. At this point they are making it a sad sob story filled with suicidal intentions, mental issues, non-existant character development and devillishly good looking men (it's both a good thing and a bad thing, I'll give you an example later).

Theory: What if Corrupted Shinnok is weaker than Normal Shinnok? Think about it; he only was defeated in Chapter 1 because he was sealed in the amulet. Before that, he fucked everyone he fought up(until Johnny got that green halo.) When he was released by Quan, he blasted Johnny, Sonya, Kenshi, and Hanzo. He then instabeat Raiden. Then he became Corrupted Shinnok, fought Cassie, and lost.
Makes no sense still, why would his corrupted form be weaker? And even if it was actually weaker, Cassie would never be able to defeat him CAUSE HE’S AN ELDER GOD. I mean, seriously, I don’t even try anymore to make thoeries for MK new timeline cause it’s not worth the time, MKX is like a bad fanfiction and Cassie Cage is the Y/N Marysue that is there to be badass LOL.
“Y/N was not a simply girl, she was skilled and beautiful. When confronting the FALLEN ELDER GOD Shinnok she discovered to have inherited powers from an ancestral bloodline. With all her grace, Y/N saved the world alone by defeating a deity older than the time. Still she can’t use her GREEN POWER to save her mother from death... What? That’s not bad writting! It’s just for the sake of drama! Marysue? What are you implying? My character is not a Marysue, she has weakness you know, she lost to Sub-Zero and... What? Of course this doesn’t make the fact she beated an elder god even more ridiculous! She has special powers! Stop telling me that she alredy had them before at the cutscenes, you are being toxic and offending-me, I’m blocking you stupid anon.”

To those spreading the hate towards Jessica...
Using platinum as a way to restrain Earthbenders/ ‘why can’t they just metalbend the enemy’s shit’ was a colossally bad idea
Not the least b/c platinum shares a lot of properties with gold. There’s a reason no one actually makes any weapons or armor out of fucking gold.
You know nothing D&D
Last night D.B Weiss and David Benioff showed us that it is possible to destroy years of a carefully crafted storyline in just one episode. After "The Long Night" I didn't think it could be possible to sink this ship further, but clearly, I was wrong.
Game of Thrones lack of plot coherency and inconsistencies started showing in season seven, the seams of the fabric coming lose in episode three of season eight and bursting wide open with last night’s episode, now every chamber in the titanic if flooding with water and there’s nothing they can do to save it.
What has been done to GOT characters has been an atrocity. I no longer know if I should feel angry or sad or just plainly disappointed, that the show I invested so many years in it’s going to be unsatisfying and filled with crappy plot holes just because its writers were too lazy to care.
Take for example Jamie Lannister’s redemption arc, now I feel personally attacked with this because Jamie was one of my favorites and I certainly believe he deserved a better ending. Why not having him killed at episode 3? Fighting for the living and dying the way he deserved, like a man with honor. No, instead you throw away his entire redemption and turn him into another spineless man who is unable to leave a toxic relationship behind. What was the point of him abandoning Cersei then? What was the point of his affair with Brienne? Truly, what was the point of everything he went through if, in the end, he was going to go back to the beginning, to Cersei’s side. Didn't D&D ever hear of character development?
And speaking of Cersei, what an awful way to say goodbye to the character that we have hated and loved for the last eight years. Don’t know about you but I wanted her to go with a bang. I’ve had a personal vendetta against that woman since the moment Ned Stark was beheaded in season one finale and it’s been a bitter pill to swallow to see her go away like this, unbeaten. She got everything in the end, dying in the arms of the only man she ever loved, in the only place she felt safe and still a queen, not a villain because now we have a new one. After every despicable thing she did, her ending is just ash in my mouth.
And now, let’s go with our great new villain. *sigh* Daenerys Targaryen fall to the dark side is something that has been hinted since earlier seasons, I believe it was in season five when I realized I wasn’t liking her that much anymore, but if the whole point of the show was to make her a villain at the end, they should have chosen a better way to do it! Yes, we saw hints of her growing power hungry but nothing more, and suddenly in the last couple of episodes her character makes a complete twist and goes all mad for no reason, you should have turned her into a better villain instead of just some mad woman who burns everything because she has lost the one she loves, half the characters in this show have lost the one they love! It’s completely unfair to Dany’s character to be so poorly written, I can’t even express how disappointed I am with D&D choice to take this road with her.
And the last straw? Jon Snow.
What is the point of Jon Snow at this moment? He became a spineless twat this season and has done absolutely nothing! He has no valid opinions, no judgment; he makes no choices and has spent the last two episodes trying to convince his lover that he doesn’t want her throne and that he actually loves her. Jon Snow, the man who abandoned Ygritte because his duty demanded it is now the one to stand beside a mad queen and watch Varys being burned alive. Where is the prince that was promised? Is he the one who is going to kill Dany or D&D are going to have Arya doing it just because her character is now more popular?
It is sad to think in Game of Thrones as the show that could have wonderful from start to finish, that could have been transcendental and that fell short in the end because its creators weren't able to understand its essence, to put an effort in its writing and make the ending spectacular.
I am honestly so disappointed and I don't think this feeling will go away soon, Game of thrones promised us to be different, to be more and in the end, it was nothing more than a good show with dragons in it.
