I wanted to do a local business so I found Bentson printing. I specifically asked if they were ok working with a trans organization when I first called and they said yes. Got my stuff printed and went to pick up today. Tad Benson decided to let me know that, as I was paying him, he felt a little uncomfortable about doing the job. He let me know that he was “old school” and believed people are born two ways, women and men, and that’s what people should be. Did I say he brought this up after I was already paying? I let him know it had nothing to do with being old school, that, in fact, that was a fairly new idea and actually got him to say, “well I guess I’m new school then.” (Followed by a laugh).
