My daughter convinced me to watch this... I hadn’t heard anything good about it at all, but I’m always willing to give a film a chance. Plus, Slender Man is such an interesting creature/storyline. I had no idea how truly bad it was going to be. Slender Man is awful, boring, predictable, and a just plain lazy horror film. Nothing creative at all. Half the movie is shot so dark you can’t see what the hell is going on. They try to use every old, over done horror trick in the book... jump scares, alcoholic parents, creepy library, oblivious parents, dumb teens, scary forrest, more lame jump scares... I was so bored by the end I wasn’t rooting for the brainless teens or the cartoonish Slender Man I was rooting for the credits.
