Hey there VA Fans! Welcome to the new Bound By Shadows Tumblr Site! We’re still under construction, but follow us here to get more updates on the series. So much is still to come before the big finale.
For those who are new to the fan series, please see our Legal tab for disclaimers. We are a fan made series for fans by film students and industry actors and stunt teams. As a fan series, we make this show with no profit to ourselves or the production, as the rights are still held by Preger Entertainment. We do not claim any ownership to the source material.
Now that the legal stuff is out of the way, this series was created to give fans of the Vampire Academy book series what they have been asking for:
Frostbite.
Somethings to consider about the story: our hopes are to create a Frostbite with our own spin to it to give us some creative leeway and room to learn as writers. Please bear in mind that the foundation of the story will remain intact, but much of the span of the book will have to be cut down due to episode length of 10-15 minutes each, limits in budget, actor schedules, and time crunches to film. But we guarantee quality acting, stunts, and a good time seeing the characters you know and love finally brought to life in this 2nd book. As said before, a lot of our crew, including out editors, are film students and many of whom are entering into their last semester of college. Our hopes are to have those last two episodes out before graduation (fingers crossed).
