Summary: When a mystic smuggles himself out of India, Scully and Doggett give chase as his murderous spree starts terrorizing two families in suburban Washington, D.C. But Scully soon comes upon a crisis of faith when she realizes how dissimilar her techniques are from Mulder, even as she tries to be the believer.

thoughts on badlaa through to per manum

badlaa is going in the list of 'episode of all time' episodes of the x files, like it certainly was an episode. it was truly something. did we ever get confirmation that he really did crawl up those men's asses and also...why??? just weird and racist all around.

the gift - i actually had no idea mulder appeared in this one so when he showed up in the cold open I was genuinely surprised! i'm notorious for spoiling myself on a lot of the big twists (it just makes me extra excited to find out HOW the thing happens!) so kudos, that one got me.

medusa - re: scully not telling doggett about her pregnancy, this was the first episode where I was yelling "OH MY GOD SCULLY JUST TELL HIM!!!" at the screen.

per manum - as previously stated...FEELINGS!!!!
