KATE: had decided to stop by the bookstore, hoping to pick up a few things for class as well as a new sketch pad. She hadn't really been out much after the trip to Detroit, needing a few days to recuperate after such a hard date had passed by. She was glancing through a few books, trying to figure out which was the best one to take with her when she heard a thump come from a few stacks over. A frown spread across her face, setting down the book about paint strokes currently in her hand and made her way to the source of the sound, gasping when she spotted a body on the ground.
