I WAS SO GLAD WHEN I SAW THE SUPER LOVERS WARNING POST!! Like even tho i adore Abe Miyuki people cannot for the love of god say that it isn't an inappropriate concept for a 16 year old and grown man to have sexual encounters. So i do find important to let everyone know what they're walking into when they read that manga or watch the anime. If you're interested in other works like Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike, its shounen ai from the same author, a good story line and no minors. Bye then~~

I just hope that the majority of the fans for Super Lovers will understand how important it is that we present ourselves as people who do not ignore or romanticize the problematic elements of the series.
Ah yeah, I’ve read KomaHoshi, too. It’s not “shounen-ai”, though. I think it’s shoujo? (Yes, there are plenty of gay shoujo manga.) Or softcore BL. “Shounen ai” isn’t really a genre anymore. It had parts I like, but it wasn’t quite as consistent in writing quality. Plus, Ren feels more masculine to me than than Takara. I remember liking the modeling parts too, but… Hana Kimi did it better tbh XD
