i just want to say that baekhyun didn't make autistic joke, 2. Skin colour joke is really normal in Korea and China, i don't mean it's not colourism but in Korea they don't have the same view on "Colourism" Baekhyun was never taught about such thing. When Baekhyun being ranked for the most handsome there were allot of insult all over maybe you didn't see it? But it was actually pretty bad.
yh i know that it’s normal but if we will go on and let it pass because “it’s a usual mentality for koreans”, what will change? aren’t we trying to make the world a better place? XD
besides, making fun of a person with darker skin is common, but what about the person made fun of? do they really think “oh, they’re making fun of me because of a thing i was born with but it’s okay, my self esteem is really okay because it’s common for the unpretty to be made fun of” like i ave rally bad teeth and my best friend sometimes (rarely, tho) happens to make fun of them and on the outside i’m like “haha, yeah” but on the inside, no matter how much i try to deny it, i still get affected and secretly hate it - oh gosh i’m turning this personal, i’m sorry ._.
anyway, yeah, the handsome list - i never actually looked at certain hateful comments, but i sorta thought that there will always be people who will disagree, yaknow? (i mean, i’m one of them - baek has more of a boyish charm, but when i think of handsome, i’m not really led to boyish, but manly - but then again, it’s a matter of perspective)
soooooo, what i learnt today; the autistic comment was a mistranslation (yay) and he actually got hate for other people’s opinion. thanks for messaging me tho, i enjoyed writing this~
