never grieved her parents, younger self only loathed them & she never grew from that feeling. it was simply there. had never been tempted to look them up to see where they were, if they were still alive ( and if they were, they would probably have been dead by now. ) hatered for them running deep. tantalus never saw them as a threat, one of their assets that did have a family on the outside & never sought them out. they weren't a threat. the relationship she had with magnolia however ? a threat. because her loyalty wavered, if only for a few seconds. it was enough however. enough for them to kill her & that, in turn . . . the loss enough for her to want to take them all down. not interested in the assets tantalus sat with, not interested in the doctors of scientist ( well, some she might have paid attention to, mostly those who worked with or on magnolia. ) but otherwise she wanted those who sat in power. those who gained something from the organization.
like the man currently spluttering blood at her feet. a slow death really. one that hurt. not to talk about the hours earlier, spent beneath her touch. feeling the torture, mind picking it up as if it were actually happening & information spilled across lips. and now, there is nothing left : and so there is no reason to keep him alive. dagger sticking out of his throat, barely nicked the corotid artery and slowly bleeding out on very expensive carpet. hands broken, so if he wanted to speed up the process, he couldn't. dark gaze slowly trail across him, squatted down, forearms on thighs and hands hanging lazily : not in any rush to leave. perhaps wrong, but a part of her likes this. death. soundless, but so very ending. atlas break the silence however & there's annoyance as she looks up at him, nearly forgotten he was there. ❝ do you ever shut up ? ❞
