“Phulkari: The Embroidered Textiles of Punjab from the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Collection” examines the different styles of phulkari. “Bagh” phulkaris have a dense “garden” of embroidery stitches that fully cover the cotton base. Because this style of phulkari required the most skill and time to complete, they were greatly cherished. Discover more types of phulkari in the Perelman Building through July 9.
