I’ve posted this on my stories but I figured bows the time to make it Instagram official. I joined the @toyota FJ cruiser family! 2007 6 speed manual with 194k miles. Already got the @bajarack expedition rack up top so I’m ready for a roof top tent! The audio situation was an absolute nightmare so I ended up getting it all ripped out, except the regular speakers since they’re pretty high end @focalofficial speakers, and completely rewired. Added a 10in @rock_audio sub into a closed box, 500W @jlaudioinc amp for the sub and a 400W @jlaudioinc amp for the speakers. Switched the outdated head unit out with a @sony carplay model and now this thing sounds as sick as it could for a box with terrible acoustics! . The plan is for the FJ to be a mountain bike hauling Overlander. It won’t be taken down any serious trails so the suspension is staying pretty much the same for now. Just need to add the tent and a bike rack and we’ll be good to go!
