A comforting and cheesy baked penne dish loaded with protein-rich chicken, perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients: 300g penne pasta. 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced. 1 cup marinara sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup ricotta cheese. 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together cooked penne, diced chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, chopped basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle additional mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
