Where do the ROs fall on the cheesecake isn't cake debate?

Rae thinks that everything called cake is cake, simple as that.

Alex thinks cheesecake is a tart, but will go along with whatever his conversation partner is calling it. He doesn’t actually care too much. The definitions are arbitrary either way, if you ask him.

Elli has gone down the rabbit hole themself and found valid arguments on all sides of the pie/cake/tart debate. They’ve since given up on trying to classify cheesecake beyond “It’s cheesecake”.

Hey, another non-native speaker here. I always thought pie was the fruity stuff and cake was the big one with chocolate and vanilla and shit💀 I hate english why do they have to make this so complicated, there’s literally one universal word for it in my language

Ngl, I assumed pie meant “fancy cake”.

Peach cheesecakes are objectively superior to carrot cakes, but in order to preserve their magnificence they must be consumed as sparingly as possible.

I refuse to accept that the magnificence of cheesecake could be diminished in any way, ever.
