Today I made some #minicakes with a friend! A basic #chocolatecake and some #homemade #whippedcream and #freshstrawberries. I like to pipe with whipped cream vs icing. It's so much lighter and not too overpowering for the rest of the cake. #baking #bakingcakes #bakingnewbie

Dear Journal, I'm sharing this photo of my Chocolate-Frosted Eclairs. It was quite challenging doing these at home: choux pastry, vanilla pastry cream, and the chocolate ganache. I realized the value of time management and multitasking. The taste is good though.
Dear Journal, I am happy about the outcome of my Focaccia and I finally got over my previous “soft rolls fail.” These beauties are made with onion, garlic, and rosemary. I love the smell of freshly baked bread.
Dear Journal, I tried to make a bunch of dinner rolls. It was soft and it tasted good but I kinda burned the top so I will try again on another day. I also have to buy an oven thermometer ‘cause it was not evenly baked. It was my first attempt to create some bread at home. Practice makes perfect, right? Anyway, Just “dough” it.
