s3 election results: a glitch happens which inexplicably causes all the los angeles tacos players to have their names changed to that of the worst player on the team (wyatt mason)

during the siesta following s3, the commissioner twitter tweeted a series of tweets attempting to repair the names (interaction determined how much of each name would get repaired).

ultimately, this resulted in 11 players ending up with somewhat altered names. only 3 entirely regained their original names (baldwin breadwinner, patel beyonce, and alejandro leaf)

s4 starts. on day 82, baldwin breadwinner feedbacks to the fridays

with the new team, breadwinner gets a fun lore change — the tacos had used he/him, but now her pronouns are now she/her. so basically she transitioned when she swapped teams :)

four days later, on day 86, thomas england was incinerated and replaced with sixpack dogwalker

then — the waveback event happens! the servers are rolled back to a time before thomas england's incineration (sixpack ceases to exist in the process) and stuff like player changes and team standings are manually rebuilt.

instead of manually rebuilding sixpacks entire player page, the devs just take thomas england's player page and change the name on it to "sixpack dogwalker".

THIS DRIVES ME INSANE. baldwin breadwinner has her name forcibly changed in the wyatt masoning, and has to watch almost all her teammates forcibly have their names changed FOREVER, and so when she transitions (at the same time as her swap to a new team) she doesnt change her name. and ONLY A FEW DAYS LATER SHE HAS TO WATCH THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN TO ONE OF HER NEW TEAMMATES.
