Serene blue hour over the Black Rock Desert by Peter Thoeny - Quality HDR Photography Via Flickr: We spent the weekend at Balls, a big experimental rocket launch event in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada - the same place where Burning Man takes place. We were quite busy in daytime preparing and launching rockets. It's time for leisure after 6pm. We witnessed a clean sunset, then we went to take a hot bath in one of the hots springs adjacent to the playa. I processed a photographic, a balanced, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted color balance and curves.
