Whumpee is hypnotized by whumper, but keeps breaking free. Whumper just keeps hypnotizing them over and over. Every time whumpee breaks free, the guilt they feel over what they've been forced to do is unbearable. Slowly they stop breaking free so much. Awareness is painful, surrendering is so much easier, no guilt, no panic, just blissful mindless obedience. Eventually they stop breaking free altogether. Exactly as whumper planned; why torture them into submission when they'll do it themselves?
MMMMMM 👌👌👌

@/bambixronno As much as I am enjoying the new series, I have to agree with you that Go have some similarities with Gary. Especially his knowledge about pokemon and the love he has for them. It would be really fun to see them talking over it! It's just a shame that Gary was not even mentioned or didn't appear in it... Let's just hope he did show up some time later ;-;

RIGHT shfjgdkdgkdg I love Go so far but c'mon a smartass kid who knows a lot about pokemon compared to his peers? That totally should have been Gary! And Oak is his grandfather so it would make even more sense for him to be there. If nothing else I would've loved to see Go and Gary trying to one up each other in terms of pokemon knowledge. Still love what they're doing so far, though, I'm just in a permanent state of "missing Gary"
I agree with both of you! It would’ve been so funny to see Gary and Go competing on who has the most knowledge on Pokémon. But nope, what we got was like, “wait did we have another main kid here in Pallet? hmmmm dont think so.” When will we get justice for Gary
“I'm just in a permanent state of ‘missing Gary’“, you... You get me.

The flash-back happens two or three years before the beginning of the anime right? I think that Gary must have been still friend with Ash at this era, so if he had been heren he would have make sure that Ash don't miss. maybe he was sick
Your speculation actually makes sense to me! Though I’d have been satisfied with just a mention of him from any of the characters... Prof Oak thinking “first Gary gets sick, now Ash sleeps in...” with fond exasperation, for example, would’ve fit in without any trouble. I just want Gary to exist in the anime again, it’s been so long ;w;
I had a boltund on my team and idk about yours but mine was VERY reliable. He ended up surpassing my Inteleon's level at least twice, and he took down quite a few gym leaders (even dynamaxed pokemon), so I'd say DEFINITELY keep yours
this answer comes many days late but you were totally right, my Key the boltund ruled against all those steel types I had to face towards the end of the game (I taught him Dig bc I don’t have ground or fire types). So yep, it was worth it :3
