frisk as the conductor who came out of nowhere
toriel is a clarinet player. she sits in front of the tuba section and quietly takes the noise except for that from one certain tuba player
papyrus on the piano and occasionally the accordian. he’s fantastic at both, but worked very hard to be good at them and vehemently corrects people when they say he’s lucky to be talented
sans can play literally anything mad of brass you hand him but leads the trombones simply for the puns. he has a habit of pulling strange instruments that nobody’s ever heard of out of nowhere and and just playing them. and sometimes the kazoo instead of his trombone. during practice.
undyne plays the oboe. loudly. and makes loud squawking noises that deafen everyone in the room. somehow she’s still the leader of the section, but the band can’t really play softer pieces anymore because of her
alphys in percussion - she really likes the vibraphone. really hates when people play off time but doesn’t say anything about it- and then proceeds to play a lot harder than she should
mettaton plays saxophone. passionately. and poses while doing so. every. time.
asgore is the certain tuba player. is really good but when he messes up toriel glares at him and he plays way too quietly for the remainder of the practice
when the band does a marching piece as they do every year, mettaton and undyne join the color guard. undyne leads and works the whole team into the ground. papyrus tries out every year but never makes it ;o;
and chara as that asshole who tried to drop the lighting rig on the band during a concert
